Grizzle and Irving debuted in 1988 with
the first published FIDDLESTIX© cartoon.
These were all originally one-shots that
later evolved into a 3 panel strip.
Currently FIDDLESTIX© has moved into
a Sunday only multi panel format.
PINHEAD was originally created in 1979,
along with the other two main characters
for the FIDDLESTIX© cartoons Grizzle and,
Irving. M.J.'s character,
PINHEAD rarely appears in syndicated strips.
Cartoon strips of this character are extremely hard to find.
Currently only 8 one-shots, and 9 Three panel strips have ever been published that
featured the character PINHEAD throughout the past 20 years. 2008 marked the 20th anniversary of FIDDLESTIX©.
A new feature was created to replace the dailies that were pulled. The new feature was created in
2007, and is titled
Welcome To The Jungle©
